Decorative Wall Mounted Shelves
Shelving Features
The wall mounted shelves are made from 3/4 inch solid Red Oak wood. The Modern style has a soft contemporary look with rounded edges and a pleasant wave pattern for the backplate. Four types of Modern style shelves are available:
- The standard shelf does not contain a gallery rail or mug pegs. This shelf would generally be used to display items such as: plates, coffee cups or mugs, pictures, knick knacks, antiques, art work, craft items, trophies, models, beer steins, and more.
- The shaker peg shelf contains 3, 5 or 7 shaker pegs, depending on the shelf length.
- The rail only shelf contains a continuous 3 sided gallery rail.
- The rail/peg shelf contains a continuous 3 sided gallery rail and 3, 5 or 7 mug pegs depending on the shelf length. This shelf can be used to display items such as: plates, pictures, coffee cups, mugs, candles, etc.
The cross section picture shows that the shelf edge, the rail edge and the bracket edge have a round over shape. Not shown, the backplate also has a round over edge.
Dimensions
Shelves come in lengths of 24, 36 or 48 inches and are 5.5" deep by 5.25" high. Shelves with a gallery rail are 6.75" high.
