Decorative Wall Shelf "Keyhole" Installation Instructions
Some floating wall shelves, all Quilt Hangers and Coat Racks come with pre-drilled "keyholes" on the back for easy wall mounting.

Setup
- 2 screws (molly bolts or similar anchors) with round or pan head are required. (not included)
- The screws should fit nicely into the keyhole slot on the back of the shelf, and support the weight of the shelf and any objects placed on the shelf.
Install

Mark the wall where the ends of the shelf are to be positioned.

Measure from the shelf edge to the approximate center of the nearest keyhole slot.

Mark the wall for this screw location using the measurement obtained in step 2.

Measure the distance between the keyhole starting holes on the back of the shelf.

Use the measurement from step 4 to locate the 2nd screw on the wall making sure it is level with the 1st screw.

Insert screws (or molly bolts) into the wall leaving approximately 3\16" gap between the screw head and the wall.
- Position the keyhole starting holes over the screw heads and slide the shelf to the LEFT until it is in the desired location.

Decorative Wall Shelf "Backplate" Installation Instructions
Some floating wall shelves come with pre-drilled holes in the back plate for easy wall mounting.

Install

Securely anchor the shelf to the wall using toggle bolts or a similar anchoring mechanism.
- Place the supplied hole plugs over the tops of the anchor screws.
